"A CALL TO SERVICE"

Over the past several years, the Southern Harmony Boys have been asked "What do you Boys need?" and "How can I help?" You may be one of those that have asked "What can I do?" Here is a chance for you to get involved and do something that can support and encourage a ministry for a long time. It's a chance for you to become a member of an exclusive club:

"THE SHB PRAYER WARRIOR CLUB"

There are no forms to fill out, no dues to pay and no membership cards to receive. There are no requirements to join this club except for a commitment to be a faithful member. Just knowing that you are there will encourage us to maintain our commitment to the call God has given us to serve Him.

So..... Here's what to do: 1. If you will, contact us by going to the index on the home page of this website. 2. Click on "Feedback" and send us an e-mail to let us know that we can count on you to pray for us daily or weekly . Your prayers will encourage us to stay the course. It is important that you take your commitment to pray for our singing ministry serious because the prayers of God's people are an intricate and essential part of the success of the ministry. This "SPECIAL GROUP " of prayer warriors will be the foundation of this ministry. Without the prayer support of God's people, the effectiveness of our ministry would be like singing to the wall.

You ask "Why should I do this?" If you chose to commit and accept the call to pray, you will receive the blessing and the satisfaction of knowing you are supporting a ministry that God is using to encourage Christians, point the lost to Christ and lead God's people in praise and worship. You will also receive whatever other blessings God has in store for you!

So you ask, "How should I pray?" We want you to pray as God lays it on your heart.

There are things that you can start with: 1. We want to give God and everyone that hears us our very best. 2. Ask God to give us wisdom and sensitivity to His direction. 3. Pray for our wives, Karen, Janna, Julie and Tammie, that they will understand that they are a very important part of our ministry and without their full support this ministry will not succeed. 4. Pray that God will prepare us mentally and spiritually for each concert. 5. Pray that God will prepare the heart of each individual that attends a SOUTHERN HARMONY BOYS concert to receive what God has for them.

Right now pray that God will show you if you are to make the commitment. We are looking for a handful of committed prayer partners to go boldly before God and lay us at his feet.
